Matthew Prestia

Matthew Prestia is a seasoned professional with over a decade of experience in the materials engineering and testing sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Low Slope Product and Systems Test Engineer and Staff Engineer at GAF since September 2012, Matthew manages code approval projects to support product launches, sales initiatives, and manufacturing processes. Previously, Matthew functioned as a Principal Technician involved in the research and development of various roofing materials, overseeing testing and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Earlier roles include positions as a Lab Assistant at Stevens Institute of Technology and a Process Engineering Intern at Koch Modular Process Systems, including foundational experiences in magnetic nanoparticle preparation. Matthew holds both a Bachelor of Engineering and a Master of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, specializing in Chemical Engineering and Materials Engineering, respectively.
