Meghan Ladd has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Meghan started their career in 2006 as a Marketing Communication Specialist at The Christman Company, where they played a key role in coordinating and managing communication and marketing plans. Meghan was also responsible for leading various continuous improvement initiatives.
In 2010, Meghan joined Learning Care Group as an Internal Communication Coordinator. Meghan'sresponsibilities included writing, editing, and distributing newsletters for multiple locations. Meghan also managed special projects such as employee training, data management processes, and emergency communications.
From 2015 to 2020, Meghan worked as a Communication Faculty member at Washtenaw Community College. Meghan developed and evaluated coursework in public speaking and interpersonal communication and created a conducive learning environment for students.
Continuing their career in academia, Meghan joined Jackson College in 2018 as a Communication Faculty member. Meghan taught courses in interpersonal communication and introduced communication to students in state and federal correctional facilities. Meghan focused on creating respectful learning environments that promoted personal growth.
In 2019, Meghan started working at Lansing Community College as a Communication Faculty member. Meghan was responsible for developing and evaluating coursework in public speaking and workplace communication. Meghan also provided guidance and support to students to ensure their success.
Most recently, in 2020, Meghan joined Consumers Energy as a Senior Business Support Consultant II - Coworker Connections. Meghan'srole involved transforming internal communications through relatable and actionable messages. Meghan introduced new channels and processes to streamline stories and promote employee engagement and empowerment.
Currently, Meghan is working at Gagen MacDonald as a Manager, Consulting, starting in August 2022.
Meghan Ladd completed their education at Aquinas College - Grand Rapids in 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Communication Studies. Later on, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Public and Interpersonal Communication from Central Michigan University, which they earned in 2011.
