Matthew Carpenter

Matthew Carpenter has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Matthew is currently the Co-Founder & Head of Product at Gaia AI since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Ford Motor Company, where they held several positions including D-Ford Design Prototyper, OBD Development Engineer, and roles in the FCG division. Before joining Ford, Matthew had internships at FCA - North America, where they worked on connected vehicle programs and the enterprise product information pipeline. Matthew also gained experience as an Undergraduate Software Intern at Cisco Systems. Starting their career, Matthew worked as an Information Systems Intern at Michigan Manufacturing Technology Center.

Matthew Carpenter completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering with a minor in Economics from Purdue University from 2011 to 2015. Following this, they went on to pursue their Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Lawrence Technological University between 2017 and 2020. Prior to their college education, Matthew attended Northville High School from 2007 to 2011, where they focused on an Engineering and Technology Track. Matthew also obtained a certification as a Remote Pilot for Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems from the Federal Aviation Administration in March 2021.
