Melissa Taylor

Melissa Taylor has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Melissa started their career in 1996 as a Call Center Manager and Trainer at MidAmerican Energy. Melissa later became the Director of Performance Development, where they created an internal start-up business and managed a team of 25 employees. After leaving MidAmerican Energy in 2000, Melissa worked as an Independent Sales Representative and Trainer for BioMeridian Inter'l, where they sold and provided training for healthcare practitioners. In 2005, they joined Quest Spinal Health Center as a Practice Manager and Holistic Nutritionist, where they grew the practice from scratch to 675 active patients. Melissa then became the Director of Training & Customer Service at BioMeridian Intl., where they designed and delivered learning products and managed a team. From 2009 to 2012, Melissa worked as a Freelance Business Writer and Consultant, providing various services to clients. In 2009, they also started working at Standard Process West, Inc. as a Clinical and Practice Consultant. In 2016, Melissa created and operated Whole Food Practice, a website providing e-learning and consulting services in natural medicine. Most recently, they have been working as a Sales Support & Clinical Consultant for Doctors’ Research Inc. and Gaia Herbs, providing technical product assistance and sales support.

Melissa Taylor began their education at Southern New Hampshire University, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from 1984 to 1989. Melissa also had a minor concentration in Human Resources during this time. In 1999, Melissa attended Richard Chang & Associates where they received a certificate in Process Improvement Facilitation. Additionally, from 1998 to 1999, they attended Langevin Learning Systems and earned certificates in Training Manager and Training Generalist. Melissa completed their high school education at Londonderry Senior High School from 1980 to 1984, where they followed a College/University Preparatory and Advanced High School/Secondary Diploma Program. In 2012, they pursued an Instructor Certification in Zumba at Zumba Inc. and completed various courses such as Zumba Basic, Zumba Gold, and Zumba Sentao. Melissa's latest educational milestone was in 2018-2019 when they obtained a Certificate in Applied Clinical Nutrition from Texas Chiropractic College.
