Francis began their career in 2010 at Best Buy Canada, where they worked as a Salesperson for Best Buy Mobile before transitioning to the Geek Squad. In 2012, they joined DLT Arpenteurs as an IT Director, managing the company's technology infrastructure until 2017. During this time, they also served as a Project Manager at Incotel ISQ from 2014 to 2017. In 2017, Careau took on the role of Cybersecurity Analyst at CAA-Québec, where they specialized in ensuring the organization's protection against cyber threats. In 2016, they played a significant role in co-founding oxio and served as the CTO and Head of Telecom for the company until 2023.
