Lead Data Scientist at Gainbridge

Yuntao Wang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Starting from 2011, they worked as a Campaigner for Greenpeace until September 2013. In 2014, they became a System Design Engineer at Petersen Dean Inc. where they designed residential solar systems. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Business Analyst and later as a Project Management Assistant at Ecoplexus, Inc. where they facilitated the RFP process for utility-scale solar projects. In 2018, they joined Capgemini as a Consultant, first in Data Science where they worked on data analytics projects and built machine learning models, and then in Cloud Data Engineering where they worked on data migration and integration projects. In 2019, they became a Data Scientist at Invesco Ltd. until October 2021. They then moved to Link Financial Technologies as a Senior Data Scientist from November 2021 to May 2023. Currently, Yuntao Wang holds the position of Lead Data Scientist at Gainbridge® starting from September 2023.

Yuntao Wang holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley, which was obtained in 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Chemistry at ETH Zürich from 2008 to 2011. Yuntao also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Chemistry from Peking University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Currently, Yuntao Wang is pursuing an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Music at Fullerton College, starting in 2022. In terms of certifications, they obtained the AWS Certified Machine Learning – Specialty certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in October 2021 and the Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) - Machine Learning certification from Microsoft in 2019. Yuntao is also pursuing the Hands On Essentials - Data Warehouse certification from Snowflake, which is expected to be obtained in 2023.
