GAINESVILLE FIRE RESCUE
Ketshia Robillard is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in emergency services and public health. Currently serving as a Responder I and Resource Technician at Gainesville Fire Rescue since September 2020, Ketshia has also gained valuable experience as a speaker at notable events including MIH Summit and EMS World in 2024 and 2023, respectively, as well as the Florida Public Health Association in 2022. Prior to these roles, Ketshia worked as a Customer Service Representative for the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity. Educationally, Ketshia is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Community Health at Tulane University, expected to complete in August 2024, and holds an Emergency Medical Technician certification from Santa Fe College and a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies from the University of Florida.

We currently operate eight fire stations with advanced life support and one airport fire station that operates with basic life support. We have 200 full time budgeted positions and run an approx 20,000 emergency calls per year.
