Amanda Townsend

Amanda Townsend is a seasoned professional in people operations and talent management, currently serving as a People Operations Advisor, Leadership and Career Coach, and Keynote Speaker at BoldChange. Amanda has also contributed as an Investor and Member at Gaingels and serves as an Advisor and BVI Fellow at BLCK VC. Previously, Amanda held the position of Head of Talent, specializing in HR, Recruiting, and DEI, at Canaan and advanced to Vice President of Global People Operations at Fivetran, where responsibilities included overseeing the Director of People & Culture role. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Strategic Communications from Seattle University and has furthered education at the University of Washington.
