Matthew Peters

Matthew Peters has a strong background in IT infrastructure and security. Matthew currently holds the position of Director of IT Infrastructure/InfoSec at GAINSCO since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of IT Infrastructure and Security at the United States Bowling Congress from 2019 to 2022. Matthew also served as the VP of IT, Platform Services at RealPage, Inc. from 2017 to 2019 and as the VP, IT Operations and Security (Rainmaker Group Acquisition) from 2015 to 2017. Before that, they held the position of Director of IT Operations and Security at Xerox Mortgage Services from 2006 to 2015. Matthew has also worked as the Director of Information Technology at Cygnus eTransactions Group from 2003 to 2006 and as the Manager of Information Systems at LaserSight Technologies, Inc. from 1999 to 2003. Matthew began their career as a PC Analyst at Universal Studios Florida from 1991 to 1998.

Matthew Peters earned their Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida, completing their studies from 1992 to 2001. Matthew then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Information Technology from Kennesaw State University, attending from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, Matthew holds certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional from the International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium (ISC2), obtained in September 2014. Matthew is also certified as an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and holds a Microsoft Certified Professional certification.
