Walter Mendez

Walter Mendez is an experienced insurance professional with a strong background in claims management. Currently serving as the VP of Claims for the Southeast Region at GAINSCO since June 2012, Walter Mendez has previously held the positions of AVP of Claims and Southeast Region PIP Claims Manager at the same company. Prior to joining GAINSCO, Walter Mendez worked at GMAC Insurance from December 2001 to June 2012 as the National PIP Manager. Walter Mendez holds a Bachelor's degree in Resource Economics from the University of Florida.
