Mike Canniff

Mike Canniff has a long and varied career in the software industry. Mike began their career at IBM in 1985 as a Senior Associate Developer. In 1994, they moved to Avalon Software as a Project Manager. From 1996 to 2003, they worked at PeopleSoft as Director of Development. In 2003, they began working at Acuitrek as Vice President of Software Development. That same year, they also began lecturing at the University of the Pacific in the CS/MIS department. In 2005, they worked as Acting CTO and Project Manager at the San Joaquin Regional Transit District, where they implemented several major software applications. From 2009 to 2012, they were a Senior Partner and Research Analyst at Mercury Consulting. Finally, from 2012 to present, they have been the CEO of PyanGo, providing advanced accounting solutions which extend NetSuite business processes for multiple industries.

Mike Canniff received a BS in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota between 1981 and 1985. Mike then attended Syracuse University, where they earned an MS in Computer Science between 1987 and 1989. Mike also attended the University of the Pacific - Eberhardt School of Business, but did not receive a degree.
