Mohamed Hasan has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Mohamed began as an Assistant Lecturer at the Faculty of Engineering Shoubra, Benha University in 2007. In 2010, they became a PhD student at the Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology (E-JUST). In 2012, they were a Visiting Researcher at Osaka University. In 2013, they became an Assistant Professor at Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University, where they taught undergraduate courses in Advanced Electronic Measurements and Advanced Electronics Systems. In 2014, they worked as a Lecturer at The British University in Egypt and at French University in Egypt (UFE), teaching undergraduate courses in Sensors, Measurement and Data Acquisition, Automatic Control Engineering, and Simulation of Dynamic Systems. In 2015, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Osaka University and a Lecturer at the Information Technology Institute (ITI), where they taught postgraduate courses in Robotics Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and supervised Term and Graduation projects. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Leeds. Currently, they are a Machine Learning Scientist at Gaist.
Mohamed Hasan holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering from Egypt-Japan University of Science and Technology, obtained between 2010 and 2013. Mohamed also holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University, obtained between 2003 and 2007. Their Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering was also obtained from Shoubra Faculty of Engineering, Benha University, between 1996 and 2001. Additionally, they hold a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera, obtained in September 2014.
