Gabriel Schmitt

Gabriel Schmitt has had a varied work experience in the field of Quality Assurance (QA) and Testing. Gabriel started their career as a Menor Aprendiz (Apprentice) at OGASEC in January 2013 and worked there until March 2014. Gabriel then transitioned into the role of Tester at OGASEC from March 2014 to May 2015, before becoming a QA Analyst from May 2015 to March 2020.

In April 2020, Gabriel joined Montreal Oficial as a QA Analyst and worked there until September 2020. Their responsibilities in these positions are not specified.

Later, in October 2020, they joined Keeggo as a QA Analyst and was involved in automated testing using Java and Selenium. Gabriel also conducted API testing using Postman and Azure tools (Azure DevOps/Azure Pipelines). Their tenure at Keeggo lasted until November 2020.

Currently, Gabriel is working at Seedz as a QA Test Engineer starting from November 2020. In this role, they are responsible for automated testing using Cypress for API and web testing. Gabriel also utilizes tools like GitHub for version control (Gitflow), Kubernetes for infrastructure management (Pods, Clusters, Containers), ArgoCD for deployment management, K6 for performance testing, and Jenkins for deployment control. Additionally, they have experience working with MongoDB and Postgres.

Gabriel Schmitt attended UDF Centro Universitário from 2016 to 2018, where they pursued a degree in Analysis and System Development in the field of Information Technology. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2015, they studied at Faculdade Projeção, where they obtained a Technical degree in Computer Networks. Gabriel also obtained several certifications, including AFCP-Aker Firewall Certified Professional from Aker Security Solutions in August 2016, and Hillstone Certified Security Associate (HCSA) from Hillstone Networks. Gabriel also holds the CTFL certification from BSTQB - Brazilian Software Testing Qualifications Board, although the exact date of obtaining this certification is unknown.
