Gala Capital Partners

Gala Capital Partners (GCP) is a private investment firm based in Southern California with deep roots in the restaurant industry. We seek to invest in or acquire distressed or growth-oriented multiunit businesses, as well as SaaS software companies that support multiunit businesses, whom have sound performance results and a capable management team. We will also selectively invest in strategic and value-add real estate opportunities. We are patient, long-term investors that build trusting partnerships with management teams. We aim to add value by leveraging our multi-concept platform and applying our deep experience as both a franchisee and a franchisor in the industry to help build and grow profitable companies and sharing that growth and success with the teams that help us. Although we prefer a control position, we can work with different flexible investment structure that include management buyouts, convertible notes, or subordinated debt. To date our portfolio consists of several franchisors including MOOYAH, Dunn Brothers Coffee, Dillas Primo Quesadillas and Rusty Taco as well as several others. In addition, we invested in a number of exciting SaaS software companies such as Ecotrak, Targetable, Stream and Lunchbox that enable restaurant operators to run their business more effectively.
