Jakub Dzikowski

Jakub Dzikowski has extensive work experience in the field of software development. Jakub is currently serving as the Lead Blockchain Developer at Gala since October 2021. Prior to this, they worked at SoftwareMill as a Blockchain Developer from May 2019 to September 2021, and as a Senior Scala Full Stack Developer from March 2016 to April 2019. Jakub also worked at CRIF as a Senior Java Full Stack Developer from April 2015 to February 2016, and at 3SOFT S.A. as a Java Big Data Developer from November 2014 to March 2015. Before joining the industry, Jakub gained experience at Poznan University of Economics as a Research Assistant, J2EE Developer, and Team Leader from September 2010 to June 2014. Jakub started their career as a J2EE/.NET Developer at Plus MPM from November 2008 to January 2010.

Jakub Dzikowski attended the Poznan University of Economics And Business from 2005 to 2010, and again from 2010 to 2014. During their time at the university, they studied Information Systems. In addition to their formal education, Jakub also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they completed the "Mining Massive Datasets" and "On Strategy: What Managers Can Learn from Philosophy" courses, both offered by Coursera. In 2013, they obtained the certifications for "Principles of Reactive Programming," "Certified Scrum Product Owner," "Certified ScrumMaster," and "ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management." In 2012, they completed the "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" course offered by Coursera and obtained the "SAP TERP10" certification. In 2013, Jakub also completed the "Software as a Service" course offered by edX.
