Jim Kavanaugh

Jim Kavanaugh has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Jim currently works at Gala Games as a Digital Armorer, responsible for IT asset management and tracking. Prior to this, they worked at Bob's Red Mill as an Onboarding Specialist, where they migrated a staff of 1000+ onto Microsoft 365 and performed audits and reconciliation tasks. Jim also worked at Albertina Kerr as a Developer and IT Support, maintaining infrastructure and training employees on data and security procedures. Jim has experience in application support and consulting, having worked at CartHook as an Application Support Specialist, and at Prosper IT Consulting as an Application Developer and UX Specialist. Jim has good knowledge of web development tools and technologies, such as Visual Studio, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL databases.

Jim Kavanaugh attended The Tech Academy in 2017 and studied Software Development and Computer Programming, although no degree was specified. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2003, they attended Cabrillo College and earned an Associates degree in Culinary Arts and Hospitality Management.

In addition to their formal education, Jim received certifications in Google Analytics from the Google Digital Academy (Skillshop) in August 2021 and became a Full Stack Developer through The Tech Academy in July 2018.
