Hamdy El Desouky

Hamdy El Desouky is currently the Director of the Petroleum and Mining Geology Program at Galala University. With a strong background in Applied Geology, Hamdy has held various teaching and research positions at Menoufia University and KU Leuven. Hamdy has also completed their Ph.D in Applied Geology from KU Leuven, after obtaining their Master's and Bachelor's degrees in the same field from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Menoufia University, respectively. Hamdy's professional experience also includes work as a Geologist at the Nuclear Materials Authority of Egypt and as an Information Technology Trainee at IBM.
