Amilcar Lopes

Amilcar Lopes is an experienced professional with a strong background in both board governance and investment. Currently serving as a Partner at Galaticos Capital since May 2024, Amilcar is also a member of the board for Voltera Energia and Log Energia, alongside a role as a counselor for Fundação Fenômenos. Additionally, Amilcar contributes to Galapagos Capital as a member of the ESG committee and previously held the position of Chairman of the Board at R&B Rastreabilidade Brasil until August 2023. Amilcar's academic credentials include a degree in Biology with a focus on Sensory Analysis of mineral waters and the environment from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas, along with advanced studies at FGV and a Doctorate in Biology, emphasizing Analysis and Functional Analysis from the University of Lisbon.
