Cara Haberstock

Cara Haberstock is the Chief Operating Officer at Galatea Technologies. Cara has over fifteen years of experience in the oil and gas industry, including positions at Canadian Natural Resources Limited, Barrick Energy Inc., and Veracity Energy Services Ltd.

Ms. Haberstock began their career in 2005 as Vice President of Business Development at Candor Corp. Cara then spent three years at Veracity Energy Services Ltd., where they served as Chief Financial Officer and Manager of Corporate Services. In this role, they were responsible for all financial affairs, pursuing business development opportunities, and providing technologist support to divisions for client projects.

In 2011, Ms. Haberstock joined Barrick Energy Inc. as an Operations Production Technologist. Cara was responsible for working with the Operations and Production teams and ensuring regulatory compliance in a safe work environment. Barrick Energy Inc. was acquired by Canadian Natural Resources Limited in 2013, and Ms. Haberstock continued their role as Production Technologist at CNRL until April 2014.

Ms. Haberstock joined Galatea Technologies as Chief Operating Officer in May 2014. In this role, they are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company’s operations, including product development, sales and marketing, finance, and administration.

Cara Haberstock holds a diploma in Petroleum Engineering Technology from Southern Alberta Institute of Technology as well as a diploma in Business Administration with a marketing major from the same school. Cara is also certified as an engineering technologist by The Association of Science and Engineering Technology Professionals of Alberta (ASET).

Cara Haberstock reports to Chad Hayden, CEO. They are on a team with Ben St. Pierre - CTO, Cam MacNaughton - Head of Finance & Corporate Development.
