Ej Etherington

EJ Etherington is an experienced technology leader currently serving as Vice President and Protocol Engineer at Galaxy since August 2025. Prior positions include Senior Engineering Manager of Infrastructure at Calendly, Site Reliability Engineering Manager at Stack Overflow, Principal Engineer at MasterControl, and Team Lead at Datadog. EJ has held various roles at Open Raven, PEAK6, Fairwinds, ReactiveOps, and Smarsh, with responsibilities ranging from engineering management to site reliability and operations. EJ holds a Master of Science in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology from Oregon State University and a Bachelor of Arts/Science in Microbiology and Outdoor Education from The Evergreen State College.
