Olivier Steinmetz

Olivier Steinmetz's work experience includes roles at various companies. Olivier began their career at Société Générale, where they held positions as an Associate Team Lead, Solutions Architect, Vice President and IT Manager, and Vice President and Senior Software Engineer. Olivier then worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Bay Dynamics, a Full-stack web developer on a cyber-risk analysis platform. Following that, they joined IBM as an Application Security Consultant, leading a team of application security champions. Olivier then became the Security Team Lead at Octane, where they managed the security program and facilitated audits. Their most recent role was Director of Security Risk and Business Continuity at Octane, where they established and managed the business continuity program and developed a quantitative cyber risk assessment methodology. Currently, Olivier holds the position of Director of Product Security at Galaxy.

Olivier Steinmetz holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Polytech Nantes and a University Diploma in Technology (DUT) in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from IUT Nancy-Brabois. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Software Security from Coursera in 2016, Cryptography I from Coursera in 2015, and Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from (ISC)² in 2014.
