Co-founder, Board Member at Galaxy Genomics

Paola Pozzo has over 25 years of work experience in the software engineering and programming industry. Paola began their career in 1995 as a Software Engineer at Università di Pavia. From 1997 to 2001, they worked as a Software Engineer at the European Space Agency - ESA. From 2001 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Associate Scientist at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). From 2005 to 2007, they worked as a Research Associate at the European Commission. From 2007 to 2015, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at EUROSTAT. From 2015 to 2017, they worked as a Statistical Programmer at MSD. From 2017 to 2018, they worked as a Senior Statistical Programmer at Novartis. In 2021, they became a Co-founder and Board Member of Galaxy Genomics, where they are responsible for developing the Origins Platform, which uses advanced mathematical and computational algorithms to deliver value to clients. Currently, they are a Research Programmer Analyst at Marshfield Clinic Health System.

Paola Pozzo holds a Master's degree in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the Università di Pavia.
