Baldo Scassellati Sforzolini

Baldo Scassellati Sforzolini currently serves as a Member of the Industry Experts Committee at the National Institute for Health and Care Research and as the Global Head of R&D and Corporate Development at Galderma, overseeing a team of over 600 professionals across various R&D functions. In addition, Baldo holds board positions at The Glaucoma Foundation and Bologna Business School, and has previously contributed to the Ophthalmology Futures Forum and Allergan in senior leadership roles. With a strong educational background including a Doctor of Medicine from Alma Mater Studiorum – Università di Bologna, an MBA from Cranfield School of Management, and a PhD in Neurosensory Science from Università Politecnica delle Marche, Baldo is well-equipped to impact the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors significantly.
