In 2018, Michael joined Greenleaf Energy Solutions as a Business Development professional. Michael J. initially focused on cultivating new business relationships in the healthcare REIT industry, where they developed and implemented energy-efficient measures and alternative financing efforts for clients. Michael J. was also involved in projects related to Fannie Mae Green Bond, C-PACE, and equipment financing. Later on, they took on the role of a Senior Business Developer, leading the national healthcare business segment and working with senior housing and medical office owners/operators to lower their energy usage across portfolios. Michael J. collaborated with C-Suite and key stakeholders to develop ESG programs, resulting in over 22 million dollars in projects sold.

Currently, Michael is a Business Development Manager at Galehead Development, where they are responsible for cultivating relationships with targeted landowners for utility scale renewable development projects. Michael J.'sproject portfolio includes solar, renewable natural gas, and storage technologies. Michael J. also serves as the point of contact for the local community as projects progress towards eventual acquisition.

Michael J. Herman, MBA, completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Florida - Warrington College of Business in 2022. Prior to their MBA, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from The College of Wooster from 2013 to 2017. In 2018, Michael also participated in the altMBA program.
