Douglas Andrews

Douglas Andrews has a diverse work experience spanning a range of industries and roles. Douglas is currently the Head of Information Security and Quality (CISO) at Galenica. Prior to this, they worked at Aebi Schmidt Group as an Information Security Manager (CISO) and IT Manager, IT Systems Management. Douglas also served as a Data Communications Maintenance Officer at the United States Marine Forces Reserve for 20 years. Additionally, they held positions such as Head of IT Network, Infrastructure & Security at Von Roll, Adjunct Lecturer, Information Systems at the University of Maryland University College, and Information Technology Consultant as a self-employed individual. Earlier in their career, Douglas worked as a Groupware Administrator at Discovery Communications and Computer Data Systems Inc. (CDSI). Douglas also served as a Registrar at the Department of Defense Education Activity and had a role as an Electronic Technician / Diplomatic Security (MSG) in the US Marine Corps.

Douglas Andrews holds a Master's Certificate in Chief Information Officer (CIO) Program from the National Defense University. Douglas also has a Master of Science degree in Computer Systems Management and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies, both from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition, they have obtained certifications including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² and CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA.
