Raquél Pérez, BSN, RN has over four years of experience in the nursing field. In 2017, they began their career as an AmeriCorps Resident Services Coordinator, where they coordinated an Eviction Prevention Program for 14 economically unstable families and addressed the need for community information through researching, writing, and distributing a bilingual resource guide. In 2018, they worked as a Medical-Surgical Cardiovascular Nurse at Miriam Hospital, providing direct, quality care to patients on a 30 bed unit. In the same year, they also worked as a Community Outreach Supervisor at Smith Hill Community Development Organization, acting as a liaison to improve communication between asset management, community engagement, and property management departments.

In 2020, Raquél Pérez, BSN, RN began working as a Content Advisor at Keener, creating emotional wellbeing content for nurses to prevent career burnout. Raquél also worked as a Brand Representative for both Jaanuu and HOLLIBLU, initiating sales of Jaanuu apparel through social media marketing and promoting new initiatives for brand recognition on a monthly basis for HOLLIBLU. Additionally, they worked as a Fashion Model for Dynasty Models and Talent Agency.

Currently, Raquél Pérez, BSN, RN is working as the Chief Nurse Officer at Gales Inc., where they develop new initiatives and programs that aid in Gales’ mission of supporting nurses, creates photo and video content for the promotion of Gales' marketing efforts, and aids in the strategic planning of partnership expansion while establishing mutual relationships.

Raquél Pérez, BSN, RN obtained their Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Rhode Island with a Leadership Minor from 2013 to 2017. In 2018, they obtained their Registered Nurse certification from the Rhode Island Department of Health. In 2016, they obtained their Certified Nursing Assistant certification from the Rhode Island Department of Health. In 2018, they obtained their Resident Services Coordinator certification from HUD Housing. In 2020, they obtained their Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification from the American Heart Association, as well as their Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Experienced Provider (ACLS) certification and CPR certification. Raquél is currently enrolled in Coco Rocha Model Camp for Fashion Modeling.
