Daniel Weisberg, MD has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and organizations. Daniel is currently working at Galileo as the National Medical Director since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Medical Director, Care Delivery at Galileo from May 2019 to February 2023. From September 2017 to August 2020, they served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Daniel also worked as the Medical Director at Mount Sinai Health System from September 2017 to May 2019.
Earlier in their career, they held the position of Resident, Department of Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital from June 2014 to July 2017. Daniel also worked as a Fellow, Incite Health at Harvard Medical School Center for Primary Care from February 2015 to February 2016. Daniel gained valuable research experience as a Clinical Research Fellow for the Veterans Aging Cohort Study at the Veterans Health Administration, West Haven, CT from June 2012 to June 2015.
In addition, they have interned at the World Health Organization, served as a Teaching Fellow, Economics of Health Care and Public Policy at Yale University, and was a Fellow at FASPE (Fellowships for the Study of Professional Ethics). Early in their career, they worked as a Program Manager at the International Family AIDS Program from August 2008 to June 2009.
Daniel Weisberg, MD pursued their undergraduate education at Brown University from 2004 to 2008. During this time, they obtained their AB degree with a major in Biology. Subsequently, they attended Yale University School of Medicine from 2009 to 2014 to earn their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree.
