Dr. Alex Young, PsyD

Dr. Alex Young, PsyD, currently serves as a Health Psychologist at Galileo and the Defense Health Agency, focusing on integrated primary care and bariatric surgery, respectively. In addition to these roles, Dr. Young is an Adjunct Professor at The University of Texas at San Antonio, teaching courses in Integrated Behavioral Health. Previous experience includes serving as a Lead GI Psychologist at Oshi Health, where integrated behavioral health services were provided for gastrointestinal conditions, and a Contract Psychologist at Tend Health, offering therapeutic support to medical professionals. Dr. Young's extensive background also includes roles as a Primary Care Psychologist at South Texas Veterans Health Care System, a Psychologist Consultant for Brown & Brown Insurance, and an evaluator for pre-surgical psychological assessments at Advantage Point Behavioral.
