Kristen Scarlett

Kristen Scarlett has a diverse work experience in the mental health counseling field. Kristen started their career as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at East Orange General Hospital in 2002, and later worked at Overlook Hospital from 2004 to 2010. Kristen also had their own private practice in mental health counseling from 2006 to 2012. In 2012, they joined One Medical as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor until 2017, when they started their own private practice again. Kristen co-founded Octave in 2018 and served as the Director of Bryant Park office until November 2020. Kristen then worked as a Residency program didactics - Faculty at NYU Langone Health in 2019, and currently holds the position of Behavioral Health Lead at Galileo, starting from November 2020. In addition, they had a mentorship role at Stork from 2008 to 2009.

Kristen Scarlett has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Villanova University. Kristen also holds a Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from Saint Elizabeth University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Kristen has obtained certification as a Nationally Certified Counselor from the NBCC Foundation.
