Ashley Trost has a diverse range of work experience in various healthcare settings. Ashley is currently the Director of People and Culture at Gallagher Asphalt. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Aurora University, where they taught Medical Surgical Nursing Units and Simulation Lab for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
Before joining Aurora University, Ashley held multiple roles at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Ashley served as the Value Analysis Manager in the Supply Chain Management department, optimizing clinical excellence and driving cost-reduction initiatives. Ashley also worked as a Clinical Education Coordinator and a Clinical Research Nurse.
Additionally, Ashley has experience as a Registered Nurse at Advocate Children's Hospital and as a Patient Care Technician at UnityPoint Health.
Ashley Trost, SHRM-CP, has a diverse education history. In 2018, Ashley pursued a Masters degree in Nursing Education at Western Governors University. Prior to this, they attended Bradley University from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Furthermore, Ashley completed their high school education and received a High School Diploma from Lincoln-Way Central High School between 2008 and 2012.
In addition to their academic achievements, Ashley has also obtained certifications in their field. Ashley is a licensed Nurse in the State of Illinois, obtained in June 2016. Additionally, Ashley holds a Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
