Ward B. Coe is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as Chair of the Maryland Access to Justice Commission since January 2015. Coe has been a partner at Gallagher, Evelius & Jones since 2007 and previously held various roles, including Partner and Managing Partner at Whiteford, Taylor & Preston LLP from 1977 to 2006. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Attorney General at the Maryland Office of the Attorney General and an Associate at Anderson, Coe & King, LLP. Coe began a military career as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 to 1970. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and an AB in English from Princeton University.
