Rick Yelton

Rick Yelton is an experienced maritime professional with extensive expertise in compliance, response management, and incident management across various roles. Currently serving as Regional Response Manager at Gallagher Marine Systems since September 2019, Rick previously held the position of Senior Compliance & Response Specialist within the same company. Prior to this, Rick's tenure at the US Coast Guard (USCG) included pivotal roles such as Vessel Compliance Specialist and Chief Warrant Officer, where significant accomplishments included leading response efforts for major incidents like the Deepwater Horizon spill and overseeing the decontamination of numerous vessels. Rick's background also features effectively managing training programs, directing pollution response efforts, and ensuring vessel safety, demonstrating a strong commitment to environmental protection and incident preparedness. Rick holds degrees from Franklin University and the University of Cincinnati.
