James Kulp

Executive Director, Head of Account Management at GALLEGOS United

James Kulp has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. James began their career as an Independent Business & Marketing Consultant in Taipei, Taiwan, where they worked with international brands such as AstraZeneca and Paul Mitchell, helping them integrate Western business practices and advance their businesses in Taiwan.

After their consultancy work, Kulp joined Lands' End, where they served as an Advertising Specialist/Analyst. James gained valuable experience in digital and direct marketing from the company, which was the second-largest online retailer in America at the time.

Following their time at Lands' End, Kulp joined interTrend Communications, Inc. as a Group Account Director. James led major accounts such as AT&T, JPMorgan Chase, State Farm, Disney, and JCPenney, overseeing various campaigns targeted towards the Asian American market.

Kulp then joined Wunderman LA as a VP, Account Director. James played a crucial role in leading the growth of CRM, including launching a branded app for Shell, the largest franchisee retailer in America, and overseeing a Hispanic market-focused effort for Health Net in the healthcare space.

Currently, Kulp is working at GALLEGOS United, where they have held two executive roles. James first served as a Group Director, contributing to the agency's success. James later advanced to become the Executive Director, Account Management, and currently holds the position of Executive Director, Head of Account Management.

With their vast experience in various industries and roles, Kulp has developed expertise in account management, marketing strategy, digital campaigns, and leading diverse teams.

James Kulp completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations (China Focus) from the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1992 to 1996. Later, they pursued an MBA degree with a specialization in Marketing from the Wisconsin School of Business, which they completed between 2000 and 2002.
