Mauricio Ruiz

Mauricio Ruiz is a seasoned professional in the floral industry with extensive experience in business development and supply chain management. Currently serving as Business Development at Galleria Farms since August 2023, Ruiz previously held the position of Senior Vice President Supply Chain at UrbanStems, a contemporary flower delivery company recognized for its innovative approach. From March 2016 to May 2022, Ruiz was the VP of Business Development for Elite Flower, overseeing strategy, product development, and e-commerce operations. Prior roles include Marketing and Sales VP at Vistaflor, where a focus on strategic partnerships and e-commerce solutions was emphasized, as well as Founder and CEO of Calita Farms Inc., a successful importer and distributor of fresh-cut flowers. Ruiz began a career in sales as Sales Director at Discovery Farms from 2002 to 2006 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Universidad de La Sabana.
