Addison Blanda

Client Engineer at Gallium Studios

Addison Blanda has a diverse work experience in the gaming and technology industry. Addison began their career at Temple University as a Teaching Assistant for a senior-level Computational Probability & Statistics course. At STARSHIP HEALTH TECHNOLOGIES, LLC, they worked as a Gameplay Engineer, contributing to the creation and release of a 3D mobile application used for empathy training in top-tier universities. Addison also developed C# internal libraries to simulate doctor-patient interactions and implemented a unique conversation structure.

Moving on, Addison joined KIXEYE as a Mobile Automation Engineer, where they developed and maintained a client-side UI automation framework for a mobile game using Python and OpenCV. Addison also streamlined QA practices with automated technology to save company resources.

At Akupara Games, Addison held two positions. As a Game Programmer, they ported Mutazione to Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, provided post-release support, and implemented new features for the Apple Arcade version. Later, they became a Senior Programmer and took on the role of lead engineer on Ghostwire: Tokyo - Prelude, a visual novel released on PS4/PS5 and Steam. Addison also provided technical support to a team of engineers and assisted with console release support for Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark.

Currently, Addison works as a Client Engineer at Gallium Studios, starting in 2022.

Addison Blanda attended Temple University from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
