Claire Duggan

World Languages Department Chair at The Galloway School

Claire Duggan serves as the World Languages Department Chair and UL French Teacher at The Galloway School since August 2021. In addition, Claire is a French proofreader for The Comprehensible Classroom and a collaborator for Fluency Matters, focusing on teacher's guides and proofreading since 2020. Previous roles include MYP English L+L Teacher and French Language Acquisition Teacher at Atlanta International School, and Modern Language Department Head at Beaver Country Day School, Inc. Claire's experience in education also includes teaching French at Sharon High School and serving as a French language researcher at Boston University. Claire holds a Master's degree in Sociology from Boston University and a BA in Sociology and French from Boston College, complemented by participation in the New and Aspiring School Leaders Institute at Harvard Graduate School of Education.
