Lane Shelton has extensive experience in education and community engagement, currently serving as the Alumni and Community Connections Manager, Softball Coach, Director of Facilities—Planning and Management, Special Projects Manager, and 7th Grade Language Arts Teacher at The Galloway School since June 2013. Prior to this, Lane worked as a Freelance Writer from August 2011 to April 2023 and held leadership roles at Circle Camps from 2017 to March 2023, including Executive Director and Camp Director, alongside serving as a Board Member. Lane's earlier experience includes working as a Camp Counselor and Department Head at Camp Tapawingo from June 2007 to August 2013, where valuable personal and professional skills were developed. Educational qualifications include a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing from The New School (2011-2013) and a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Warren Wilson College (2007-2010).
