Patty Foglesong is currently the secretary at The Galloway School. Prior to that, they worked at The Galloway School Parents Association and Greenway Strategy Group. From July 2012 to July 2014, they were the director of the Division of Strategy & Innovation for Fulton County Schools. In this role, they oversaw the creation of new strategic projects, developed policy, and managed the Fulton County School District's advancement as Georgia’s largest Charter System. Patty also led a team to design and launch the Seed Fund, an ~$8MM fund which empowered schools to create unique solutions to improve student outcomes. Additionally, they created the Strategic Plan Dashboard to measure the district’s progress against its five-year strategic plan. Finally, they were responsible for reviewing, developing, and interpreting all board of education policies.
Patty Foglesong has a MBA from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, a Master of Education from the Broad Center for the Management of School Systems, and a MS and BS from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Patty also has certification from Darden Executive Education in Creating the Innovative Workplace and Design Thinking.
