Asmaa Darwish

Asmaa Darwish has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Asmaa is currently working as a Senior R&D Engineer I at Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc. since January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as an R&D Engineer at the same company from May 2021 to December 2022.

Before joining Galvanize Therapeutics, Inc., Asmaa worked as a Mechanical Engineer at Auris Health, Inc. from February 2021 to May 2021.

In 2020, they were a Manufacturing Engineer I at Boston Scientific. Asmaa'sresponsibilities included sustaining engineering of implantable metal components and supporting production processes. Asmaa's root cause analysis resulted in a 15% increase in yield.

Asmaa also gained experience as a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer Intern at ZOLL Medical Corporation from June 2019 to May 2020. During their internship, they worked on designing fixtures for temperature management catheter production and contributed to the transfer of new products to mass production.

In addition, they worked as a Student Assistant at SJSU Lurie College of Education from November 2016 to October 2019. Asmaa'srole involved managing databases, handling expenses, and providing exceptional customer service.

Asmaa Darwish holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from San Jose State University. In September 2020, they obtained certifications from LinkedIn in several areas, including being a Certified CAD Designer with SOLIDWORKS, Introduction to Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing, and Lean Six Sigma Foundations.
