Ashitosh Waidande

Ashitosh Waidande is a clinical nursing professional with extensive experience in various healthcare settings. Currently serving on the Member Board of Directors at St. Columba's Credit Union since December 2022, Ashitosh also holds multiple roles at Galway University Hospitals since October 2017, including Clinical Nurse Manager 2 in both the GI and Gynae theatres, alongside previous positions as Senior Enhanced Staff Nurse. Prior experience includes a role as Shift Leader at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (March 2016 - October 2017) and a Staff Nurse in the Major Operation Theatre at Galway University Hospitals from November 2005 to February 2016. Earlier in Ashitosh's career, a position as Staff Nurse Incharge at Wanless Hospital included specialization in kidney transplantation. Educational qualifications include a Post Graduate degree in Perioperative Nursing from University of Galway and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Management from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, complemented by qualifications in Quality & Risk Management in Health Care from University College Dublin and a Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery.
