Ralph M. Gasser has extensive work experience in the finance industry. Ralph M. began their career with a banking apprenticeship at UBS in 1987 and went on to hold various roles within the company, including Relationship Manager, Executive Assistant, Analyst, and Credit Portfolio Manager. In 1995, they became the Executive Assistant to the Regional Head of Structured Finance EMEA and the Head of M&A DACH Region. From 1998 to 1999, they served as the Credit Portfolio Manager for Global Project & Structured Trade Finance at Warburg Dillon Read LLC. Ralph M. then transitioned to the role of Lead Sell-Side Analyst for European Asset-backed & Structured Debt Securities. In 2002, Gasser joined Julius Baer, where they held positions as the Head of Fixed Income Third-Party Fund Research and Head of Fixed Income Product Specialists. Finally, in 2009, they became the Managing Director and Head of Fixed Income Investment Specialists at GAM Investments.
Ralph M. Gasser has a diverse educational background. From 1987 to 1990, they completed a banking apprenticeship at KV Business School. Following this, they enrolled in the UBS Graduate Talent Development Programme from 1990 to 1995. In 1994, they also pursued a Swiss-certified Banking Expert with Federal Diploma from the Swiss Bankers Association. Additionally, Ralph M. Gasser spent a significant period of time, from 1991 to 2007, in the Swiss Armed Forces where they achieved the rank of First Lieutenant and served as a Battalion Quartermaster.
