Stefan Kern

Stefan Kern has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Stefan currently works as a Client Director Institutional Clients Switzerland at GAM Investments since August 2021. Prior to this, they worked at AXA Investment Managers for over a decade, starting in April 2010 as a Senior Institutional Sales Manager and ending in August 2021. Before that, they served as a Senior Client Relationship Manager at Swiss Life Asset Managers from June 2006 to March 2010. Stefan'searlier experience includes working at Zürcher Kantonalbank, where they held the positions of Head of Acquisition Manager's for Substantial Private Clients from March 2005 to May 2006, and Senior Corporate Customer Advisor in Specialized Lending, Credit, and Risk Management from November 2000 to March 2005.

Stefan Kern has a comprehensive education history. In 1988, they completed a Commercial Apprenticeship at KV Winterthur. Stefan later pursued further studies and obtained a Swiss Certified Banker / Eidg. dipl. Bankfachexperte degree from 1991 to 1994. In 2001, Stefan enrolled in IFZ Zug / Fachhochschule Luzern, where they completed an Executive Master of Banking program from 2001 to 2003. Additionally, they attended AZEK - The Swiss Training Centre for Investment Professionals in 2007 and 2008, earning a Certified International Wealth Manager CIWM credential.
