Chas Richardson

Chas Richardson has a diverse work experience, primarily in the aviation industry. Chas started their career as a Graduate Trainee at AJW Group in September 2014 and worked in various roles within the company. In their first role as a Project Manager, they played a key role in implementing a major supply chain services program with easyJet and later relocated to Montreal to lead the implementation of a $1 billion contract with Bombardier. Chas then transitioned to the role of Commercial Executive, where they managed customer RFPs/RFIs and developed customer-centric proposals. In July 2018, Chas was promoted to the position of Commercial Manager, reporting to the CEO and President. In this strategic role, they were responsible for driving commercial strategy, winning new business, and managing a contract service portfolio with an annual turnover of $300 million. Notably, they played a crucial role in winning the largest aftermarket services contract with easyJet and securing AJW's largest power-by-the-hour contract with Aer Lingus. Chas is currently employed as the Head of Commercial at Gama Aviation, starting in March 2022.

Chas Richardson completed their education at the University of Southampton from 2011 to 2014, where they pursued a BSc in Geography. Prior to that, they attended Dr Challoner's Grammar School from 2004 to 2011. In terms of certifications, Chas obtained the APM Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management in the year 2016.
