Henry Brooks

Henry Brooks is president, Power & Controls, at Collins Aerospace. In this role, he is responsible for delivering integrated solutions for customers across four key segments, including aircraft environmental control systems, electrical power systems, engine controls and industrial businesses.

Prior to this role, Henry led Customer & Account Management at Collins Aerospace. In this role, he was responsible for supporting the development and implementation of Collins Aerospace enterprise-wide customer initiatives. He also facilitated internal and external collaboration among customers, Collins Aerospace employees and the aerospace industry.

Henry started in the industry as an engineer and in his 30-year career has held numerous leadership positions in engineering, operations, program and general management. He served as president, Interiors, Actuation & Propeller Systems at UTC Aerospace Systems (UTAS). Prior to this, he held a variety of leadership positions across the UTC family of businesses, including at UTAS, Keystone Engineering, Milton Roy and Sullair Corporation.

As his corporate career has grown, so has his commitment to advocating for a more inclusive engineering community. Henry is a lifetime member of the National Society of Black Engineers and is a sought after advisor to the organization. He also sits on the Board of Directors for the General Aviation Manufacturers Association (GAMA).

Henry holds an MBA from Northeastern University and a Bachelor of Science in engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
