Michael Kates is an experienced managing editor and media partnerships professional with a diverse background in sports journalism. Currently serving as Managing Editor/Media Partnerships at Gambling.com Group since August 2018, Michael oversees content and staff while helping to launch US-facing sites. Previously, Michael worked as a sports contributor and adviser at World Book Encyclopedia, an editor at The Athletic, and managing editor at FanRag Sports, where significant accomplishments included achieving Top-10 recognition from the Associated Press Sports Editors.
