Shaimaa Salama

Shaimaa Salama has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Shaimaa is currently a Senior Product Manager at Gameball, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to that, they were a Product Manager at Gameball from June 2021 to June 2022.

Before joining Gameball, Shaimaa worked at Vodafone as a Senior User Experience Designer from September 2020 to May 2021. In this role, they collaborated with product owners to define and develop new features, created comprehensive UX concepts, and ensured design consistency across Vodafone products.

Shaimaa also worked at Mondia Group, where they held two positions. From February 2020 to August 2020, they served as a UX Designer II Growth Hacker, conducting user interviews, analyzing user behavior, and identifying flow bottlenecks. Prior to that, they were a Frontend Software Engineer from March 2018 to February 2020, responsible for delivering products for the SSA and MENA regions.

In addition to their corporate roles, Shaimaa has experience as a Freelancer, where they worked as a Frontend Software Engineer from July 2017 to January 2018. Shaimaa also had an internship at Microsoft as a Software Engineer from March 2017 to June 2017 as part of their AppFactory internship program.

Throughout their career, Shaimaa has demonstrated their skills in product management, user experience design, frontend development, and software engineering.

In 2021, Shaimaa attended the Knowledge Officer Career Accelerator program, where they pursued a Product Management Accelerator Program.

From 2016 to 2017, Shaimaa studied at AMIT Learning, where they obtained a Web Design & Development Diploma. Shaimaa'sfield of study was Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology.

Between 2011 and 2016, Shaimaa attended Benha University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering.

In terms of additional certifications, Shaimaa obtained several certifications in various areas. In 2021, they completed the "Product Masterclass: How to Build Digital Products" course at Product School and the "Product Management First Steps" and "Transitioning to Product Management" courses at LinkedIn. In 2020, they obtained the "Product Management: Executive Briefing" certification from Pluralsight. In 2017, Shaimaa became certified as an MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) for Web Applications. Shaimaa also completed the "IDF: Become a UX Designer from Scratch" course at The Interaction Design Foundation. Additionally, they have taken exams related to programming, including "Exam 480: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3" and "Exam 486: Developing ASP.NET MVC Web Applications," both conducted by Microsoft.
