Solar Project Engineer at GameChange Solar

Matthew Yee has worked in various positions related to mechanical design and engineering. Matthew worked as an intern at MG Engineering D.P.C. from May to August 2018, where they assisted with AutoCad designs and revisions for a mixed-use development project. From January to August 2019, they worked as a Co-Op for MG Engineering D.P.C. and helped with AutoCad designs and revisions for a mixed-use development project, fixed detail sheets for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing in AutoCad, and created formula spreadsheets in Excel. Matthew then continued as a Co-Op from July 2020 to August 2020, where they assisted with AutoCad designs and revisions for nursing homes, hospitals, and other projects. During their time at MG Engineering D.P.C., they also converted AutoCad files into Revit and used energy modeling software to help make buildings more sustainable. From June 2022 to March 2023, they worked as a Mechanical Designer at HFA. There, they assisted in designing mechanical components and machinery. Finally, they will be joining GameChange Solar as a Solar Project Engineer starting from March 2023.

Matthew Yee graduated from Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering in 2020. Prior to this, they completed their high school education at Brooklyn Technical High School with a Diploma in Industrial Engineering in 2016. In addition to their academic degrees, they obtained a certification in Engineering Design Process with Autodesk Fusion 360 from Coursera in June 2020.
