Srikanth (Sri) Busam

Srikanth (Sri) Busam has over 18 years of work experience in the field of data strategy, architecture, and solution oversight. Srikanth (Sri) is currently serving as the Head of Data Strategy & Architecture at GAMEDAY since July 2019. Prior to that, Srikanth worked as an Enterprise Architect at Equity Trustees from January 2018 to July 2019, where they provided solution oversight, analyzed business practices, and developed strategic plans for data and analytics solutions. Srikanth (Sri) also served as a Technical Architect at SportsTG from August 2016 to January 2018 and as a Solution Architect at Vemco Group from March 2015 to February 2016, where they led the design and implementation of IT solutions. Srikanth also has experience as a Senior Database Consultant at RockSolid SQL (UXC RedRock) from April 2012 to March 2015 and as a Solution Lead BI/DBA at Byte Information Technology from June 2011 to March 2012. Additionally, they worked as a Database Administrator at Yarra Trams from July 2008 to June 2011 and as a Senior Database Consultant at Oakton from September 2007 to June 2008. Srikanth started their career as a DW/SQL DBA/Analyst Programmer at Pacific Brands from April 2004 to September 2007. Before that, they worked as an Independent Software Consultant at IT SmartSolutions from May 2001 to April 2004. Throughout their career, Srikanth has demonstrated skills in solution design, database administration, stakeholder and client relationship management, and leading and mentoring teams.

Srikanth (Sri) Busam obtained a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree, specializing in computer-aided manufacturing, from the University of Madras between 1996 and 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Applied Information Technology degree in Software Development from Monash University from 2001 to 2003.

In terms of certifications, Sri Busam obtained the Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification from Microsoft in March 2008, and the TOGAF 9 Certified certification from The Open Group in 2014. Srikanth (Sri) also acquired the Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) certification from Microsoft in 2014.
