Joe Ferencz is the founder and CEO of Gamefam. Joe previously worked at Mattel as the Manager of Franchise Business Development, leading strategic opportunity identification, development, and brand management of new entertainment, gaming, and merchandise initiatives. Joe then worked at Ubisoft as a Strategy Manager where they were an internal consultant focused on strategy, business development, and process improvement. While at Ubisoft, they conducted a brand licensing audit and developed analytic tools to maximize guarantee revenue and royalty rate per category. Joe also led a process and strategy study on Ubisoft's entry into the film business which was presented to C-level executives worldwide and catalyzed the decision to hire senior film industry executives and create a new subsidiary dedicated to film development, Ubisoft Motion Pictures. Joe increased forecasted video product revenue and profits 166% over the initial business plan through recommendation to optimize value proposition by bundling the Assassin's Creed and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon short films. Joe evaluated potential partners and executed a deal with top independent home entertainment distributor Cinedigm, resulting in a 250% increase in royalty rate over a standard studio agreement.

Joe Ferencz holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
