Carlos M. has a diverse range of experience in product management and leadership roles. Carlos currently holds the position of Head of Product at GameHouse, where they oversee the P&L, high-level product strategy, and organizational structure for three main Free-to-Play games. Carlos manages a team of over 25 people, including Product Managers, an Ad Monetization Manager, a QA Manager, a Localization Manager, and a Customer Experience Lead.
Prior to GameHouse, Carlos served as the Vice President of Product - Live Games at Homa Games, where they established the team foundations and managed a team of one game lead, three developers, and one artist. Carlos strategically leveraged analytics, user testing, and reviews to set the product roadmap and achieve significant LTV uplift in their releases.
Carlos also gained valuable experience at Scopely, where they held the positions of Director of Product Management - Scrabble GO and Lead Product Manager - Scrabble GO. In these roles, they played a key role in defining the long-term vision and feature roadmap for the game, as well as managing the career development of a team of Product Managers.
Before Scopely, Carlos worked at Social Point as a Product Manager for undisclosed IP and Dragon City Mobile. Carlos conducted extensive market research, directed feedback channels, and oversaw the development of product features. Carlos successfully doubled advertisement ARPDAU without cannibalizing IAP in Dragon City.
Early in their career, Carlos gained experience as a Junior Product Manager at Social Point, where they were responsible for the P&L and product roadmap of Dragon City and Monster Legends on Facebook. Carlos also worked as a Business Performance Analyst at the company, creating market intelligence tools and generating market insights to inform the product strategy.
Carlos started their professional journey at Deloitte as an Audit Assistant before transitioning into the gaming industry.
Carlos M. completed their Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, attending from 2009 to 2013. In 2012, they participated in a Foreign Exchange Program at The University of British Columbia, focusing on Economics. In 2013, they also took part in another Foreign Exchange Program at The Wharton School, continuing their studies in Economics. In June 2014, Carlos M. obtained Level I of the CFA Program certification from the CFA Institute.
